What this division delivers

Environmental work is a major division of the company. Skyscanner Global Concepts Limited has delivered oil spill clean-up, hydrocarbon impacted soil remediation, groundwater remediation and waterway desilting programmes in the Niger Delta.

Work is carried out under controlled site set-up with documented sampling, monitoring and community engagement, and is closed out through inspection and monitoring stages.

Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA)
Assessment of impacted sites ahead of remediation programmes.
Oil spill clean-up
Clean-up of oil spillage at impacted community sites, including shoreline and swamp terrain.
Hydrocarbon contaminated soil remediation
Application of hydrocarbon treating agents, ridging and bioremediation of impacted soil.
Groundwater remediation
Groundwater treatment cells, treatment demonstration and sampling before and after treatment.
Post Clean Up Inspection (PCI)
Inspection of treated sites following clean-up works.
Post Certification Monitoring (PCM)
Monitoring of certified sites after close-out.
Environmental monitoring and sampling
Georeferenced photographic records, sample collection and laboratory support.
Waterway clearing and desilting
Clearing and desilting of blocked creek and waterway sections across the Niger Delta.
